We are fortunate to have a local beekeeper friend who has his bees on the North Yorkshire Heather Moors and will happily supply us with Heather Honey and so supporting his bees and him.
The bees forage mostly on the Heathers of the Yorkshire Moors so this is very thick rich honey. The hives stay there all year.
Benefits: Heather honey is highly prized for its health and healing benefits as it's rich in antioxidants and anti-bacterial properties.
The honey is then filtered via gauze from frame on the hive to the bucket so you are getting a product with no additives at all.
